Belger Financial Group: Shaped by Strength

“Be strong, son.”

My grandma was an extraordinary woman. She worked tirelessly, filling the shoes of both parents after my grandpa passed away. She’d put in long hours, often late into the night. I remember staying up just to see her come home. We’d sit on the front porch together, catching the cool breeze as she rested feet that were dependably sore and swollen from a long day of discomfort.

But here’s the thing about my granny: She never complained. Not once. She’d get up every day, put on her uniform, catch two buses to work and do it all over again. And seeing her do this day in and day out without any fuss, that left a mark on me.

Now, when I face challenges, I think of her. I remember how she handled hardship with grace and strength, never complaining, always pushing forward. And I strive to bring that same resilience and determination into my work as a financial professional.

Every time I meet with a client, I’m guided by these words my granny said to me often: "Be strong, son. Do what you say you’re going to do. No matter what life throws your way, do it with a smile, because life is a blessing." That’s the kind of financial professional I aim to be: strong, reliable and always ready to face the challenges of the day, just like my granny.
